Over the last month I have started to styling shoots in Berlin, two of these being with the beautiful model Amélie Baasner. Here are some behind the scenes photos of the last one we did together. This time the mood was feminine, vintage glamour and four outfits were styled altogether with pieces from my wardrobe. Unfortunately I forgot my camera while rushing this morning so Instagram came to the rescue. We loved working together so much that we have a shoot planned in the beginning of March where I will be the super nervous stylist and photographer. Official photos will follow soon and some behind the scenes photos of the first shoot I styled with her.

Here is my version of a man-repelling outfit or as I call it layering the heck out of myself

You asked how I keep warm. Well, I wear tights under the pants, tank top and shirt under the top and everything else you can see. There are several soft spots that I have to always keep covered in order to feel warm hence I always wear scarves and buy long coats.

Times Square is the heart of Manhattan, full of neon signs, shops, theaters and people wandering from one place to another at any time. Not only the stores have neon lights, as a rule any company or service must have them, so imagine how it feels to see the subway, McDonalds or the police station with flashy lights … it’s amazing.

When you are there you understand why New York is said to be the city that never sleeps, no matter whether it is a day or night this area is always full of  life! I could not pick a better time to wear my sweatshirt ”I Love NYC”  in the background of  Times Square  :)

Not the best quality, it was really difficult to take some decent outfit photos because the (cold) wind almost blew me away.

It is amazing how unflattering certain items can look in certain photos on me. Yes, I’m talking about the silver jeans that make me look huge. I love them even though I can’t seem to do them justice but I’ll continue trying! The jumper is three sizes too big but that was precisely why I vultured in on it the other day in Brunswick. This blouse used to be white and accidentally turned minty in the wash. Definitely a mistake I hope happens in some other pastel colour in the near future.

The 2nd day in Braunschweig, we spent in the biggest New Yorker store EVER to spend our 100 EUR vouchers, insane! Imagine a dozen of bloggers storming… 1. heating up with a couple with sheer shirts / 2. Josephine and Anjelica pose for a quick photo / 3. the messCindy and I made in the dressing rooms / 4. front entrance / 5. Sara, Christian and Sophiahaving fun with their full shopping bags / 6. tons of new clothes

in this very second, i would have been in Paris munching on my Laduree macarons & waiting for my connecting flight to Copenhagen.
but i decided to cancel the trip to fashion week yesterday because Miguel has an acute lung infection & mild case of bronchitis.
he´s feeling quite better now but i know that if i went, i wouldn´t be able to enjoy the thing anyway. SO I STAYED.
luckily, this will not be the last fashion week and i know fashion will wait.
still a bit sad though.
anyway, as if the fashion gods know that i am not feeling really well, my long awaited Lita Spikes came in yesterday.
what is it with shoes and moi?
they always lift my spirits up.

my fixation addiction to Hello Kitty has a long history that goes all the way back to my childhood.
this cute little kitty has been popular in Asia for as long as i remember and it kinda
reminds me of home.
so no wonder when i see that my favorite cat is on a pair of sneakers, that i always wanted to buy appears, i didn´t need a second to think if i needed it or not.
I JUST DID.

My current favourite jewellery pieces. I haven’t worn a lot of jewellery lately, mostly because I didn’t have much pieces that I loved to wear. I’ve bought some bracelets and rings the last couple of weeks, which will look good with casual outfits!

This is my outfit that I wore at the New Yorker event! Snakeskin print and feathers, finished off with tucking my blouse into my trousers in some kind of awkward way just feels so right.
